Right, heres what I've got:-
Imav dv 128mb, 10gb, with latest game spockets, and logitech mouseman wheel which i bought thinking the thumb button would be perfect for Q3(my latest addiction!).
But wait a minute...can't get Q3 to recognise it, even in menu screen. Taken advice about binding MOUSE4 into base3 but being a non techie wasn't too sure what i was doing and it still wouldnt work. Tried USBoverdrive..nope! Tried Logitech Support..blamed Q3! Tried Activision..no reply! Basically, before this turns into a WAR and PEACE epic, can/as anyone solve my problem? Or its back to the 'hockey puck' for me!!

I can't really help you, but my logitech USB wheel mouse works with Quake III and unreal, using USB overdrive. The scroll button does work well. Do you have the latest versions of Input Sprockets? Is there a conflict between USB Overdrive and mouse software? Have you turned USB overdrive on/off for the specific app?
Best of luck,
