Hi everyone,
So I just found out, after ordering it (stupid, stupid), that the LaCie Little Big Disk 320GB has a rotational speed of only 5400rpm.
I am aware that if it is dense enough (well if someone wants to explain that whole concept, I am not opposed to that

) that this may not be a problem, but here is my problem:
I want to edit digital video with this drive and I am very worried about it dropping frames because of the lower rotational speed (as opposed to 7200rpm).
It does however have a 16MB Cache and supports Firewire800.
Does anyone know whether I will run into problems while using this drive for video editing?
Does anyone think things will go absolutely smoothly and that I shouldn't worry?
Has anyone actually used this hard drive for video editing and might be willing to share their experiences?
Thank you so much!!!
