I'm looking for an LCD monitor for <1000$ for a peecee, can anyone give me recommendations? I heard apple made the best but I'm not sure if it will work on a peecee that well with a dvi->analog convertor, which will also kill the price...

Also I hear Apple contracted samsung for their LCD monitors but I've also heard Samsung and Apple monitors were different...

Soo, any suggestions? at least 16" diagonal visible area is needed...

And no, I am still against LCD monitors This is the only way I can get dual 17" CRTs for my system

exa, I've got a Samsung 770TFT 17" LCD display for sale. It's about 6 months old, VGA connector. Excellent screen ,crisp text, image quality is superb. I'm looking to move up to a Cinema display. The display has a 3 year warranty. Asking $750, plus shipping.
