Do you guys note that the iPod gets pretty warm when plugged into the Mac? My iPaq handheld uses a lithium-poly battery and it warms up a bit--not as much, but then it does not have a heat-conductive metal case.

Just wanted to make sure I'm not alone here. Definitely pretty warm while charging.

Mine get's really warm while it's actually charging. When the three hours are up and the unit is supposedly charged fully, then it's not so warm. It's just like a mini laptop!

You gotta expect a battery of that capacity to get warm when it charges. A lot of electrical power potential being built up... my pismo battery gets really warm when it charges, too.
