Hello all,
Previous Spymac user here now coming to MacNN in search of what is common sense to you and wisdom to me. I have a G4 Powerbook running 10.3.9 with 60 gigs, which is 75% full. I wanted to back up my pics, ect (usual story) so I put together a 320 GB external USB drive that my computer fully recognizes. What's next? Rather, do I now partition the drive in a "journaled" way such that I can launch from it if need be? Also, should I go ahead and partition a section for windows and bootcamp since I will eventually put this drive on an Apple intel machine? That's all I know to ask.
Thank you.

Should I move this thread to software? I noticed a lot of external HDD talk in here, but judging from the response I believe I may have misplaced my question.
