I bought an iMic to import audio and get higher quality audio out. Unfortunately while running SoundJam (or any other audio program) sometimes under OS 9 it'll suddenly revert out of USB audio input and I have to go back to the sound control panel and change it. Any solutions? Are there any iMic drivers?

There is an iMic firmware update on the manufacturer's (Griffen) website.
