best ATA card?

I need some more drives in my G4 yikes!, and i'm looking for a ATA card. My considerations are:

speed
bootability
OS X compatability (later down the road)

that's about it. Is the Acard the best? I've heard good things about it and the Sonnet card, and not so good things about the VST card.

I have a Sonnet Tempo card that's been sitting on a shelf collecting dust because I can't return it. Nothing but problems with it. I put it back in after a firmware update became available and still no luck. Back on the shelf it went.
