I've got a LaCie Porsche. I've used it on Macs and PCs and it works fine. Today I hooked it up to a PC I've never used before (a brand new one, which might be the problem) and it doesn't recognise the external. The external shows up in the bar at the bottom of desktop—a generic USB icon—but there's no F-disk/LaCie showing in "My Computer".

Any ideas? It's running Windows 2003, so it's not a driver problem, is it?
