I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. If I'm running EyeTV on my account on my Mac Mini and another user signs on ( without signing me off) Will the EyeTv still record my scheduled shows?
hummm....

Any thoughts?

Actually that is a good question and very easy and quick to test. If you do, please share the result.

Yes. EyeTV will let the second logged in user know that it is running under another account. But, EyeTV needs to be running on the primary account.

So with that I guess using the family mac as a PVR is not a good idea.
Toast 8 now has Tivo support so that may be the way to go....
