And I need help finding one that suits me.
I've been using a wireless Mighty Mouse, but the inconsistent right-click, the POS scroll ball (I try cleaning it more than using it), and the bad battery life have finally made me stop using it.
Here's what I need in my next mouse: - Bluetooth
- A normal right-click that works all the time
- Good battery life or a rechargeable battery
- A scroll ball that doesn't clog in me all the time (4-way scrolling is something I'd like but isn't necessary)
- Laser tracker
- Has to be under $100
I'd also prefer if it integrated with system preferences (using the mouse section that's already there) instead of having to open a separate app to change settings).
Thanks a ton for your help,
Duck

I have a mighty mouse at home, and a Logitech MX310 at work. It's not wireless (so not for you), but the design and ergonomics are heads and shoulders above the mighty mouse.
I have to admit I have liked the mighty mouse a lot more then I thought I would, but not enough to consider it a good mouse.

Mouse are a personal issue - you will hate my favorite. Go to a big computer store and try a lot of them!

Logitech V-270 FTW!
It doesn't match the computer...that's the only bad point I've found after 6 months use. Who cares what a mouse looks like? I'm using it with a MacBook.
I still have the original batteries in it (I hardly ever remember to turn it off). The right-click ALWAYS works. It never loses the bluetooth connection.
www.buy.com runs it on special every month. I got it for $32 bones w/free shipping.
It's the second best mouse I've ever used. The best is a MS Optical Notebook 3000 that I use with my Gateway laptop. It's wired though. I hate (and won't use) USB dongles on a laptop.

Honestly, I really don't see the need to insist on Bluetooth. Indeed, I was in the same situation, since I had to have Bluetooth. But the Mighty Mouse wasn't worth it, and the only Bluetooth mouse from Logitech was ugly and nondescript, so I just went with a VX. even though there's a wireless nub that you have to plug in, it's not that much of a hassle. Even if it does hog a USB port, that's what USB hubs are for. ;D
