Hi,

I don't know about your drive, but I had a similar problem with my Que drive. The problem was created with by the drivers that Que sent me with the drive.

I installed Toast without the Que drivers and everything has been working great ever since.

If your Freecom came with some drivers, eliminate them and try using just Toast software and the Toast drivers.

Did you install all of the software that the direcctions told you? When I installed my LaCie 12x4x32 there was one little file that had to be drages into the little folder that had toast. I got the same problems as you I could pay music and games form the drive but I couldn't recoard from it. I hope this helps.
