Does anyone know of any external hard disk enclosures that provides all of SATA / USB 2 / Firewire interfaces?

They are v hard to find....

Also, do any of the current Apple laptops support the SATA interface for external drives?

Thanks!!

Well, I just bought a CoolMax CD-311 which does all that, but as you can see (http://forums.macnn.com/57/periphera...m/#post3284732) it's giving me some issues yet....

OWC has the Mercury Elite-AL Pro.

Sonnet has the Tempo SATA Expess 34 Card Adapter for the Macbook Pro and I've heard of others.

Don't have experience with either one.

Newegg.com - COOLMAX 15436 3.5" Aluminum External Enclosure - Retail for $50, less than half the price of that enclosure from OWC.

No, none of the Apple laptops have external SATA connections.
