Take a look at the iTV page on the Apple store. They show what looks like an ACD with a black face & silver sides and a round pedestal. Down lower on the page there is a mini graphic black face with the Apple pedestal. Kind seems like a little hint to me...

I believe that's a TV not an Apple display
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

"Kinda" looks EXACTLY like a Sony LCD TV to me without the sony logo. They even kept the smaller logos on the the right.

Plus I can't imagine apple putting their monitors in a "black face" as that would cause some trouble.

That is in fact a Sony LCD TV. Apple used those same displays at Macworld this year to show off the AppleTV. displays. For the record, that black faced picture and comment is not only rude to certain ethnicities but the whole comment comes across as racist. NOT FUNNY OR APPRECIATED!

I was scrolling down slowly reading these replys... I can't see straight from laughing right now.

Again, there's nothing funny about that comment or the picture. It's obvious why it doesn't affect you.

Try not to get all sensitive about it as it was just a joke based on his title. There are plenty racial comments made on these boards and usually not taken seriously by anyone.

Also Black face is actually insulting and embarrassing for white people as they are the idiots who did such stupid things in the first place.

I found it funny, and I'm not
black. He's not really a racist.

I believe silver/white is the new standard for monitor enclosure... something about eye strain and workplace laws in some regions.

Not exactly sure, but I think we won't see any black displays from many companies in the future.
