I have a Logitech MX1000 laser mouse -- have had it for quite some time. Suddenly, last week it quit working. Somehow I managed to get it working again through unplugging it, plus installing a newer version of the Logitech control center. It's not the connection itself, b/c my original Mac mouse works fine.
Yesterday, it quit working again. And now I can't get it to come back to life. It seems to happen when putting it in or taking it out of the recharging cradle, though since it's happened only twice I don't have much of a history to go on. I've tried plugging the USB cable into various ports; nothing changes.
Any thoughts? I HATE the Mac mouse. I'm not nuts about having to go out and buy a new mouse eitherr, as this one is not all that old, in terms of mice years. (Though hey -- how long do mice last?) On the other hand, at least I still had the Mac mouse. I'd be really up a creek, otherwise.
