Apple's site states that iCal & iSync will be a free dl in early Sept. But won't the new iPods ship before then with iCal/iSync? I am confused....please explain.

Yes, the new iPods will be out before iSync and iCal. The calendar function in the iPod will just be useless for a few weeks until iCal is out.
iSync isn't necessary for the iPod as music and contacts can be synced now without it.

Thanks for the reply. I think it is kind of funny that they will be on the iPod and useless. Maybe Apple will delay the new iPods until jagwire is out.

They want to get the new models (including the Windows versions) out there ASAP.
