Do you think developers who make iPod Accessories will be able to make a remote that works great in a car? Maybe a wireless remote or something you can attach to your steering wheel for control while keeping your hands on the wheel?

Why wouldn't this remote be great for a car? That's my sole purpose in wanting this little jewel in the first place.

Well, how do you think you'd attach it to your steering wheel? I've seen some cool remotes for in dash receivers that velcro onto your steering wheel or attach to the center of your wheel for thumb operation.

I don't really want it attached actually...I don't like that look; however, I'll have the remote to my side in the console area and have it easily accessible for my hand. It will be alot better/safer then looking down and navigating through the iPod while driving I think.

lol, i just ordered my 10GB iPod yesterday, and you think looking at an iPod while driving is bad? Since last November, i've not had a CD player in my car (got stolen in Boston...funny thing is that's all they took and they left my digital camera in plain view on my passenger seat, and moved my cd wallet from the front to the back seat)since last November...so I've been using my iBook as my music source for about 8-9 months now. You don't know how many close calls I've had with the guardrails on the side of Highways cuz of that.
