I have a G4/450 Dual Processor Mac with a DVD-RAM drive. I want to back up data onto DVD-RAM disks, but am not sure how to do so. Do I use software that came with the system, something like Toast, or something else entirely? Could someone give me a step-by-step? And please, if the software I need came with my system (which the dealer says it did), where the heck is it? I've been looking without any luck.

Thank you for your help.

If you are still using 9.1, drag and drop whatever you want to copy on the disk icon on the desktop. Unfortunately, I don't know of anything yet that automates backup with the DVD-RAM. Not implemented in X either.

I agree with air all you do is drag and drop on to your DVDRAM disk, just like a floppy disk. Do you even remember those old things?
