At work, I have a G4/350; at home, it's the new G4/733 with Superdrive. I never did any CD ripping on my old home machine (due to a lack of drive space), but I've now started converting our CD collection into an iTunes library. In the course of scanning my CD's, I've found eight or so (out of 150ish that I've scanned) that refuse to be read by the DVD-R/CD-RW Superdrive in the G4/733.

If I take them to work and put them in the old G4/350, they work fine. So I've been ripping the MP3's from these discs at work and then taking them home on a Syquest disk ... not ideal, but it works.

Is anyone else having troubles getting the Superdrive to read certain audio CDs?
