Mustek Drivers for OS X

Is anyone using a mustek scanner with OS X? I have a 1220 UB and the only plug-in I have for photoshop is a non-carbonized plug in that will not work. I emailed mustek and they said that the scanner should work with OS X but did not give any information on drivers. Is this scanner a classic only device?

If no one is using this scanner then is there any way to cabonize the plug-in to get it to work in OS X?

not unless you are better at writing software than apple is 
Have you checked into an app called Vuescan ?

VueScan doesn't support Mustek scanners.
I bought a Mustek A3 yesterday, and was stunned to learn that there were no OS X drivers. Fortunately, open source software came to the rescue. Check out the Twain SANE Interface for Mac OS X... some nice people have packaged up the SANE drivers for Jaguar, Panther, and even Tiger... After working with it for a little, it now scans pretty well from Photoshop on my machine.
