So in the anticipation of my iPod, I have been hunting down some cases. I was concerned that the size difference would play a role, but after realizing it really is not that much, 0.78" to 0.72" or 0.06", I'm not worried about it. Of the cases I found, I like the Sooper Dooper case <a href="http://www.sfbags.com/PRODUCTS/iPOD_INFO/i.htm" target="_blank">http://www.sfbags.com/PRODUCTS/iPOD_INFO/i.htm</a> and the Marware Convertible <a href="http://www.marware.com/SportSuit-iPod-Final.html" target="_blank">http://www.marware.com/SportSuit-iPod-Final.html</a> . I am leaning in the sooper dooper direction, the posts in this forum have been positive on it, did not look to hard for the Marware one. The case that comes with the iPod doesn't seem to offer the style and protection I want for my iPod. Anyone have any experience with these or can compare them. Looking more of pluses or features you think are nice touch, attention to detail, ect.

Yes, the Marware is nice, but with the cover on it's like 2" thick. I think it might offer better protection and it has some useful accessories. This is a tough choice, I really want to pick one of these up it's tough on getting feed back. I have been asking around, in , um, other places.

I have the Mareware case. While it gives great protection, the case makes the iPod way to bulky. Plus it hides much of the iPod's wonderful industrial design. Have you seen Contour's <a href="http://store.contouravs.com/isee/" target="_blank">iSee</a> case? This is the case that I will be purchasing with my next paycheck. This is the best iPod case that I've seen.

Well, when you get it post back. I'm leaning toward the Sooper Dooper.

I have the super duper case from waterfield and I love it! However, I am thinking about getting the iSee one as soon as it comes out as an alternative.

What is that iSee made of, anyway? Is it hard plastic or soft? The website gives too little info about it. I have a two-piece cling cover on mine that I got from Everything iPod a while back. I don't know if they even sell them anymore, but it has been essential in protecting my iPod against scratches without changing its appearance at all. It really is almost completely invisible. Apple should include these with every iPod it sells.
For what it's worth I have a Marware SportSuit Deluxe. Great protection but a lot of bulk. I used it on vacation, but 99% of the time I use the Xtreme Mac case. Based on my experience, and the general consensus of <a href="http://www.ipodlounge.com" target="_blank"> another iPod page</a>, this is the best case out there so far.

Well, I did it, I made a choice. I decided to get the sooper dooper, went with white. I just like the design and it looks great. The marware basic that was just announced looks good too, but I would have needed more colors than black. I might pick up the Marware basic further down the road, but for now it's just going to be the Sooper Dooper and Apple's iPod case. Now if it would just get here.
