I bought the Labtec microphone/headset (as the animals had chewed through the mike headset that came with ViaVoice) and it doesn't work with ViaVoice no matter what I've tried.

Perhps it won't work (though it says on the package it's approved for major software recognition programs)

Or perhaps I'm not doing something right.
Thoughts?
