hey,
I just recently purchased a 933 G4 and 17 LCD for college. I now need a set a speakers to go along with my system, and am not sure where to look. Anyone have any suggestions for a 3 peice set that isnt that expensive, but has good quality?
Thanks

iSticks and iSub. I don't have them, nor have ever heard them in person, but I've heard that they are quite nice. I also like the look - expecially next to a clear LCD and tower. A little pricy at $180... For less money there are some non-USB speakers available from JBL and others. What type of price point you looking for?

Well, I had been looking through mac connection and saw several ranging from 30-80, so I wouldnt really want to spend more than that. Especially since I just sank 200 into an Eye TV (which is arriving soon, not sure if I'll keep it) $180 seems really high for a 3 piece system.

I visited the new Apple store in nyc yesterday, they have these jbl speakers that sound (to me) just as good as the overpriced soundsticks. One set is $99.00, the others are $129.00 check the apple website.

Take a look at the Enhanced 2100 3 piece system by Altec Lansing at alteclansing.com
I've heard these speakers and they sound great for about $95, they also look great.

Cambridge sound works all the way, by the best engineering, Henery Kloss, and they can be had for rather cheap, I have had my digital set for two years and not one plroblem.
