I just got the SB Live! for my G4 533DP and I love it, with one MAJOR exception. My system will now no longer enter deep-sleep and the Apple System Profiler puts the blame on the SB Live! saying "Low power mode disabled because of PCI cards in slots: SLOT-2".
Does the SB Live! for Mac really not support deep sleep mode or do I have some other problem? I had been using deep-sleep mode a great deal in the month or so since getting my G4 and not experienced any problems.

Never mind, I found out that the card currently does NOT support deep-sleep.

I did have the monitor set to power down using the energy saver control panel, but I had a few freezes. I also started having problems that seemed related to the control strip.

All in all, I'm still pleased with the purchase, though. On another forum some Creative folk have suggested that an upcoming driver update will solve the sleep issue.
