can anyone point me to a good firewire ccd camera that will work on macs? Its ok even if it will work only in OS9. I checked the Sony XCD-SX900 and it appears that there is one company called Teraglobal that makes apps for this range of cameras http://www.1394ta.org/Press/2001Press/jan/1.9.a.htm
Has anyone used this?
I would love to get a rez of 1280x960 monochrome with the firewire convenience and make quicktime movies. is there any other alternative at this level of resolution? thanks a million is advance for any help.

lots of the DV cams out there will work with os x and os 9 via iMovie, Final Cut Pro, even Quicktime Pro I believe.

The Apple Store sells DV cams, so you might want to check there to get a range of ideas. Also I'd check outpost.com or whatever. If you're really from Vladivostok, then you'll have a hard time getting anything like that unless you can sneak over to Alaska and have it shipped to someone you know there.
