It's not on the list of supported cameras in iPhoto, but it IS supported in Image Capture. I'm thinking it's a omission by Apple. Anybody?? I just bought one and I'm scared I may be buggered!

I have a 4800 which is just the 4700 with a new design and rechargable battery. It works just fine. Just plug it in and see.

Got it today, and yes it works. Only it comes up as "USB Mass Storage" and iPhoto launces & imports fine, but you have to manually drag the disk on the Desktop to the trash like a drive. Oh well. FYI- the pictures on the 4700 are rather poor, but the thing is over a year old. I got it for $280 so no worries. I'm babbeling!
