Anyone here have a Apple 30" LCD that could measure the frame dimensions (not including the stand).
I know the width is 27.2", but I'm not sure of the height.
With the stand it's 21.3, but I don't know what it is without the stand.
Thank you in advance.

Hey, I don't have a 30" ACD, but I just measured my 20" ACD and then compared to Apple's online stats, and I think I figured it out...
My 20" ACD is 12.5" tall and 18.5" wide. This is a ratio of 1.48 width-to-height.
Thus, as the Apple site (and you) say the width of the 30" ACD is 27.2 "
Then 27.2 / 1.48 = 18.378"
As the pixel width-to-height ratios are obviously the same (1.6 in each) the only chance this figure should be off is if the Aluminum along the edges on the 30" is wider than on the 20". If it is, it should only be slightly so, perhaps making the display a more "even" 18.5" or even 19" inches.
You can also suppose that a 20" rotated to portrait position is almost the exact height of a 30" in landscape.
I'm curious to see how close this is to the actual figure!

Like Buckaroo, I was also curious about the dimensions of the 30" Apple Display frame. I may buy one - when they update the Mac Pro.

The display, not including the stand, is 18" tall. Just measured.
Just over 21 1/2" tall with the stand.

Not bad, pretty close! 18 vs 18.378
What are you doing Buckaroo? (With the dimensions?)

I'm going to build me a new desk setup. I'm sure you've seen one of my posts of my current setup. I want to make a better one with the Apple 30" display.
