The request was for USB TV on __OS X__. ATI offers no OS X driver for the XClaimTV USB.

To my knowledge, only Eskape Labs (a division of Hauppauge) offers USB TV for OS X. Formac has a Firewire device. xtv.sourceforge.net has an open source driver/viewer, but I believe it works only with certain PCI cards.

I am tempted to buy the Eskape Labs product, but I am confused. They sell a MyTV and a MyTV2Go. What's the difference? (besides $50, I mean).

I have heard that USB bandwidth limits these TV tuners to very low resolution, which makes me want a Firewire or PCI device. No one recommends Formac products, citing sub-par software. I have heard that Ben Bird's BTV software works with the Formac Studio, though.
