Can anyone tell me the differences between the Digitial Camcorders.
I have seen Hi8, DV, MiniDV. And which one is the best in your personal opinion?

Hi8 is not digital, Digital8 is the digital version of Hi8 and is backwards compatible with Hi8. Anybody will tell you that MiniDV is better quality, Digital8 is good for the backwards compatibility and is mainly promoted by Sony.

Forget the HI8, and go with mini DV. Quality is the best. If your camera has firewire, it is very simple to import to iMovie. Have fun!!
