Should be plug and play, but the usb port must not be working right or something. I open up the add hardware wizard and it goes through everything till the end when it says that the install was successful then right underneath that it says "the installation failed because a function driver was not specified for this device instance." I have no idea what the problem could be, i asked my friend to come over and do it for me, he's pretty knowledgeable but he didnt know what the problem was. It doesn't come with xp driver disc but a windows 98 one...cuz its supposed to be plug and play. Please help...this is the external enclosure i bought.

update: just tried it on my friend's computer and it worked. He got it to show up and was even able to access it like ur supposed to. I know there's something wrong with my drivers, cuz I've run into problems in the past, but eventually could always get things to work. Please help if you happen to know what the problem is.
