Hi

I have a first gen g4 400 AGP PCI to which I have previously added a zip drive and one additional HD.

I now want to add two more HDs (two maxtor 80 gigs are waiting) and need some info on which card to use.

My local Apple retailer is useless and the folks at CompUSA are lucky if they can find the door at night so I'm posting here for advice. Any reccommendations are appreciated.

Thanks,
Kent M

you should REALLY look into one of the new(er) cards that'll allow you to set up a RAID from two regular ATA drives. cant remember the manufacturer just now, but if you email me i'll dig it up.

I highly recommend a Sonnet Tempo Card (it's a rebranded ACARD). Works great. No drivers, just works.
I always use protection when fscking my Mac... Do you?

Heya,

Thanks but the disks already have info on them. I have to keep them separate.
