I'm just loving my iPod since I go it last week, it rocks. Only problem is that since I carry it in my pants or jacket pocket, there always seems to be dust and lint collecting in the FireWire port.

Anyone have any ideas on a good way to stop this from happening? Granted, I could just stick a piece of tape over it however I was hoping for something a little more stylish to perhaps plug into it.

you could get a case for it for around $20 probably. tape works also.

wouldn't you like a nice clear soft plastic plug? would make things simpler, to be sure.
(except when you had to remember where you put it... ah, now i understand those plugs on cell phones and walkmen... do'h.

I remember someone suggesting getting an iBook port protector and cutting out the FireWire plug to use in an iPod. That's what I'd do if I had one....
