I have recently bought a Wacom graphore tablet with cordless mouse and graphics pen. They work GREAT for about one hour, then the cursor goes haywire. It veers in circles for a while then floats anywhere it fancies, paying no attention to where I'm trying to point it. If I manage to waver it back towards shut-down as an option, the iMac freezes. Any ideas? I am running system 9.0.4 an iMac DV 400mhz with 256 MB memory installed. I used to have UniMouse Overdrive installed as an extension from my last mouse. Is it possibly something to do with this? Or something more obscure? Thanks.

Sounds like you might have a dead (or dying) Graphire, as you say it works for an hour THEN goes bonkers - surely that rules out extension conflicts?

I've never had any such problems with mine, but then I'm using a RevA iMac and OS8.6 so it's not a fair comparison.

Perhaps you should try to return it for a new unit.
