to recognise USB hub inside TFT screen

I have a defective 18" Eizo 675 TFT (crack in screen)
and I also have 5 pieces of USB equipment

Since I sold my external USBhub, I want to use the internal USBhub in the TFTscreen. The TFT has 1 upload and 4 download USBports.

But the hub does not see the equipment, the imac that is connected to the TFT sees the hub thru by using the SystemProfiler but not what I attached to it.

Any suggestions?
