Hey people, to cut to the chase, last night my Entrega 4 Port Hub (USB) literally blew up in my face... hence the abscence. I am using the correct power supply and it is connected directly to my Mac... any suggestions as to why it has gone up in sparks?

(And my Mac is telling me the Hub is using too much power...)

Sounds like someone forgot to put a fuse in the circuit. Have you contacted Entrega?
Is this a good place for an argument?

Entrega were taken over by Xircom 4 monthes ago...and I'm not too sure if Xircom will support a "pre-takeover" piece of equipment.

I think that Entrega hubs are notoriously unreliable. I've heard of others acting funny. A year ago, I nearly replaced my 4-port hub because I ounds thought that it ruined my iMac's internal modem.

Belkin... hmmm... I wonder... sounds good, but about the fuse... my Entrega has got the right one...

I kinda had taht same problem when I was testing different USB hubs. It didn't explode in my face, but made a loud POP, and just died. The case didn't crack or anything, just the insides freaked out.

I have no idea why this happened to you or me....

It was a 7 port Belkin hub (black case)
