I've searched this forum, but haven't found any user experiences using Retrospect 4.3 with the new Que! 12x10x32x CD-RW drive. Dantz's compatibility page shows this drive is in testing. Apparently the drive does support Packet Writing. I would appreciate any user experiences using Retrospect with this drive

I too would like to know that info!

As a related issue, I have heard that firewire CDRW drives cannot exceed 4X speeds due to packet writing limitations in the burner's hardware. Is this true? I am considering the Sony Spressa crx145e/xi drive which is rated at 10x. Are we victims of marketing hype?
