I have a Western Digital 30 GB External FireWire Hard Drive.... that doesnt work...

I also Have a Jaz drive...

they have a very simuliar power adaptor that I switched with each other today by accident....

now the 30 gig won't mount and it freezes my computer at start up....
is it dead?
the utility that came with it dosen't see it...

any suggestions?

wow, I came back to work this morning and it works now....

I guess that Chicken I sacraficed worked (not that suggest it, kinda messy)

Add Western Digital to the crap gear list! Shipping unsupported FireWire drives with no FTP updates on web page. Gotta pay $10 for shipped CD (U.S. mail only). Tech support not with it. Are these guys kidding? Almost as bad as LaCie.

I give them 24 mo. before "belly up" or sold.
