Other LCD screens are now £100-150 cheaper than the Apple Cinema displays no matter which size you compare them at. It would be "nice" if Apple dropped the price to match.
I suppose in a way they have if you buy a new PowerMac and screen from Apple you get a discount/cash back.
May be something new after March. Well will have to wait and see.

LCD prices may actually go up this year. Manufacturing company's are reporting shortages in LCD's because of increased popularity. If these companies can't keep up with supply, demand goes up and hence prices.

LCD's are very popular, as we all know, especially 17" models, since they are so 'high tech' compared to a regular monitor.

Think of how different an LCD is, it's positionable, you can really adjust it, and a good LCD fits a LOT easier on a normal desk (not dedicated to a computer) than a CRT
