Hi all,

I just got a Mercury external firewire HD from OWC. I currently have Bootcamp installed in my mini. When I boot up in Windows, the HD is not recognized. Is there a way to partition the new drive so that I can use one partition with Windows and the other with OSX? I'd like to set aside about 50gb for an NTFS partition. Is this possible? TIA.

You could partition the disk using Disk Utility into a 50 GB FAT32 partition, and the other whatever format you need. Then boot into Windows and reformat the FAT partition as NTFS.
