Hey everyone, I'd appreciate any help anyone could give me on this.

The SYS.230 has almost always been troublesome. Transfers would never finish, the system would lockup etc. This was under OS 9, I've never tried this drive under X. When I tried to run my SCSI scanner in X though through VueScan I found out that my Beige G3 has a pretty nasty SCSI bug. My scanner only works once then I have to restart, so I'm pretty sure this is the problem with the MO drive as well.

Here's my question, I'm thinking of a SCSI to USB adapter since I'd really like to use this drive again (to replace my zip 100 as it was originally intended). Does anyone know if this will be succesful or am I wasting my time?
