Printing to a Windows printer

I have an Imac running Mac OS 9 and Windows PCs on the same ethernet network.
One of the Windows PCs has a printer hooked up. The other Windows PCs can print to it but I don't know how to print from the Mac.
Is there any freeware solution to this problem?

is the printer connected directly to the PC or to a hub?
