I was wondering this because the sticks don't seem to have labeling I can read.
I took these sticks out from a win 98 machine and the one with the blue heat sink is 128 MB and the other is 256 MB.
I wanted to know what type of sticks these are so I could maybe stick one inside my iMac G5.... OR, find out what type of machine I can stick them in for my to-be-built PC.
Signature depreciated.

It's not DDR or DDR2 SDRAM so there's no way it could fit in your iMac G5.

Likewise it won't fit in any currently available desktop PC. Considering Windows 98 is almost 9 years old, I doubt you can find any reasonably current machine that could use the modules today.

I'm not positive, but they look similar to RAMBUS modules (RIMMS) to me. Not much good these days...

I also think those are RIMMs. A few years ago, Intel wanted to switch to RIMM RAM completely (I'd say around the time the PIII 800 or first-gen PIV came out). However, they were a lot more expensive and weren't received well on the market. So Intel switched to DDR RAM like everybody else.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
