I swapped a G3/300 Beige Mini Tower at work with an older system so it could serve as a workstation, while the older system could run our rarely used "Trapeze" Trapping R.I.P (which really doesn't work too well anyway).

The G3/300 had a 10/100 "Dayna" Ethernet card installed into a PCI slot. I formatted this system and upped it to OS 9.1. The system seems to be incapable of locating the Ethernet Card, even with the Drivers loaded. Obviously these drivers are older, as the system was previously only running OS 8.1.

I did a web-search for "dayna" but didn't quite find what I need. I'd like to be capable of utilizing this PCI card somehow, but the driver seems outdated, and it looks like it's possible that the company might not even be around anymore. There is a Phone # on the software package, however, but I haven't tried it yet.

Anyone ever hear of "Dayna Communications"??? Anyone have any info on how I could update these drivers? Maybe they were "acquired" by another company or something.

I will be trying to # at work today, either-way.

Dayna was bought by Intel about 3 years ago. Within a few months, the entire Mac product line was discontinued and any remaining products were moved to the Intel name. If that card doesn't work with the drivers you have, you probably won't ever be able to get it to work.
