Apple TV Internal Clock - Wrong Time, can't fix

My Apple TV's Internal Clock is out by 8 hours (in advance), and there is no option where you can change it.
It is really messing up my smart playlists, which now have last played dates in the future.
So if I have playlist that only has tracks not played in the last 6 months, it now includes those played in the future!
I can't see how this can be reset and neither can quite a few more people on the Apple Forums.
These are people from all around the world!

Sounds like a time zone issue of some sort. I'm not sure how to fix it though, as I don't have an Apple TV.

There are no options to set the time zone, I wish there was.

What about a "location" option? I'm grasping at straws here, but it sounds very much like the box thinks it's somewhere it's not-like the U.S. West Coast...

There is no location option or any other option that could change the internal clock.
The only option is the Language and only one of those for English.
There are many people with this issue, have a look at the Apple Forums.

Wonder what Apple is using to set the clock ... pulling it from your computer? Location by IP address?
Apple seems to have alot of control over the Apple TV's ... even for Apple. There's this. There's also the rumor of modded Apple TV's being locked down.
