Coincidentally, I did this just today. The 15" Studio Display AND the iMac screen are both GORGEOUS and blow away my TiBook (which, in itself is GREAT and much better than most).
The biggest difference is in non-face on viewing. The TiBook looks best when you're looking straight at it, but suffers from color shifts and brightness variations as you move from side to side or up/down. Neither the 15" Studio Display nor the iMac screen exhibit these facets.
