Hi there,

I have just bought one of these monitors after reading some pretty glowing reviews of the monitor and in general I am pretty much very happy. But (there's always a but), I do have a few concerns about it though. They are.

1) The top of the screen image has a downwards "bow" to it. This cannot be fixed by using the on-screen display. I have looked at the Mits. DiamondPro monitors (6 x) at work and they all have this problem too, but none of them seem to be quite as pronounced as my LG. Don't get me wrong, it's not a huge bow, but now i have noticed it, it is hard to ignore.

2) The monitor seems to take ages to return to it's "programmed" screen image when it is switched on. I spent ages and ages fine-tuning the screen geometry in the main resolutions that I use. I even used Apple's Display Service utility to make sure everything was as straight as it can be. But whenever the monitor is switched back on, it reverts back to what would seem to be like a factory defualt screen image, but, over time (about 1/2 hour or so) slowly reverts back to the image I set up.

3) There seems to be a vertical shadow about an inch or so in from the left hand side, from top to bottom, but this is really only visible on a bright white screen. But it's there nonetheless. I thought this could have been my speakers, so I moved them away, but it is still there.

4) There seems to be some slight interference or noise on the outer left and right sides of the image. Again, still there even when I took the speakers away. This noise/interefence changes size when I change resolution thought. Any ideas.

I appreciate that this may not be the most expensive/luxury/quality monitor out there but I hope someone out there can help.

Thanks,

Matthew
