Just wondering. Can you link 2 iPods together to get some kind of transfer going? Not lik I wanna pirate music. But it would be useful for file transfers among me and other designer friends of mine who need to transfer a document or set of. Can you even access your files through the iPod screen or just through the Mac? Or maybe it can be hacked to view and transfer files directly from the iPod?

Bingo. My main purpose for this thing is file transfer. I don't need to drag along a bunch of Zips and any 1 file for 100 megs (94m) can't be split up conveniently. And burning on CD is just time consuming plus it's wasting CD-Rs for nothing. The MP3s to me are just an added luxery.

And what's the deal with the music shutting off as soon as you connect the iPod to the computer. I figured that you should be able to transfer files and still have the thing playing continuously. Oh well. Firmware updates coming soon hopefully.
