Title says it all… the one I have is titled 'Basic' and so far is pretty useless, I have done a search and stumbled at this site APPLE MANUALS but the one for the 17 Apple Studio Display CRT is M.I.A. If anyone can provide me with a link where I could download it would be very nice of you.

Just out of curiosity, what for?

I've got a copy of the manual for the ASD 17 grey version with ADC. If that's what you need, PM me (can't remember the link, but I can send you the pdf direct).

It is due this ASD not working, well sort of… it blinks constantly, I think it could be related to humidity so I would need to open it and see what could be done.

Thanks for the offer but mine is the older VGA display, yours is cooler

There's usually not a whole in the way of user serviceable parts in these CRT monitors, but perhaps you'll get lucky! Best.

Isn't working with the CRT a bit risky?

Yes. But if you let it sit for a few days it should be okay. Just be extremely very very very careful.

All depends if those high voltage caps have bleed off resistors.

But just assume they don't, and think there is 100V or so all over the place.

I GOT WASTED WITH PHIL SHERRY!!!

Thanks, I am not going to open it until I get the Service Manual, that's for sure.
