I know Dell does not support macs but there has to be another way. I have a all-in-one 942. I figure I would find who really makes there printers and hope there was a driver to select on the printer configuration. Seems gimp can be used but which manufaturer do I use? thanks

I looked around a bit, but though there are numerous people who've asked the same question in the past, there are no reports of successes. One thought it was a rebranded Lexmark P6250, but that doesn't seem to help matters, since the Lexmark also lacks OS X drivers.

Dell printers: just don't, don't.

Dell printers are repackaged Lexmark printers. What OS X drivers Lexmark has do not work with the Dell printers, as they identify as Dell and not Lexmark. The printer times out when you try to use the Lexmark drivers.
