Looking for advice on this one. Was looking at Samsung's Syncmaster series, esp. 900NF and 900IFT, but on their websites, it says max. Mac Res is 1280X1068, even though for PCs it's 1600X1200. Go figure: does someone want to explain this to me? Or make other suggestions?

Well, the ViewSonic PF790 is really nice. It's also a perfect flat monitor.

It's also affordable, at $480 (or around there). I don't know if the 99 G4 has the right port, because as you can see I have a G3.

-oh yeah.

I love my Princeton Graphics EO90 19". It was a great price when I bought it in '98. Great specs too. Check it out.

We've also had great success with the DPs; but our favorite (21") midrange monitors are the Sony CPD520GS, G500 and (more expensive) GDM-F500R... FWIW.
