I E-mailed MacSpeech and got this response which I wanted to share;

Steven:
Thank you for your email and your interest in MacSpeech products.
We anticipate shipping our first dictation product sometime within the next
two to three months.
One reason it is taking us longer is because we are taking the time to do it
right. Our competition forces you to speak into a window in their
application and then transfer the text to your target application - as long
as your target application is one of the five they support. This works well
for word processing, but comes up short when using spreadsheets or
databases.
Our products behave the way you would expect a Macintosh dictation product
to behave: you can talk anywhere you can type. Another "MacSpeech" advantage
is our extensive command and control and AppleScript support.
So, to answer your question - yes, it will work in Word 98, Word 5.1, Word
2001 - and just about anything else you can think of.
Best Regards,
Chuck Rogers, Chief Evangelist
